SCETV Passport is a member benefit, which provides ETV Endowment members extended on-demand access to a rich library of quality television programming online and via mobile devices. One of many benefits provided to ETV Endowment members, SCETV Passport is available at the $75 or higher annual giving level, or with a Sustaining Star membership of at least $6.25 a month.

What is SCETV Passport?

SCETV Passport is a member benefit, which provides ETV Endowment members extended on-demand access to a rich library of quality television programming online and via mobile devices. This is one of many benefits that the ETV Endowment provides its members along with the SCENE program guide and the Endowment Member Card.

As more and more people are watching television content on-demand, as well as on computers and digital devices, SCETV Passport gives ETV Endowment members another way to enjoy extended access to PBS and SCETV content on platforms including computers, smartphones and tablets.

What programs are available on SCETV Passport?

SCETV Passport includes hundreds of hours of programming, representing many genres, including drama, science, history, natural history and the arts. Notable titles include MASTERPIECE series such as All Creatures Great and Small, Sanditon, and Grantchester, along with other favorites like A Chef's Life, Nature, NOVA, Finding Your Roots,The Great British Baking Show and many more. SCETV Passport will also include popular SCETV programs such as How She Rolls, Expeditions with Patrick McMillan, and Yoga in Practice.

Cooking and travel programs from the APT catalog are now accessible to stream with SCETV Passport such as America's Test KitchenSimply MingPati's Mexican TableLidia's KitchenReal Rail AdventuresRick Steves' Best of the AlpsRick Steves' Europe Awaits and more! 

To see all the programs available with SCETV Passport, visit this link: https://video.scetv.org/shows/. Programs can be sorted by "popular,"  "A-Z" or by typing the title of the program directly in the "Filter by Title" box. There are also filters available to the left if you prefer to search by a specific genre, "Featured Passport Shows" or "Only SCETV Shows." 

Will there still be free streaming on SCETV.org and PBS.org?

PBS and SCETV programs will continue to be available for free for a limited time on various digital platforms, including SCETV.org, PBS.org, the SCETV mobile app, the PBS mobile app and PBS channels on Roku, Apple TV and other streaming services. SCETV Passport provides extended access to a rich library of programming for ETV Endowment members to enjoy.

Certain programs, including those for children, news, and public affairs, will always be accessible to everyone.

I can't afford to donate right now. Is there a way for me to view this content?

All broadcast programs remain available to all viewers on air per our broadcast schedule and will remain online and on mobile for at least two weeks. In some cases, they may even be available longer.

How do I activate my account?

If you're a current ETV Endowment member giving at least $75 annually, or $6.25 monthly, and we have a valid email address on file, you may have already received an email with activation instructions (remember to check your junk folders).

If you donated online by clicking a "Donate Now to Watch" button, you should see an activation link on the confirmation page for your link. You'll receive a message at the email address you entered when making a gift.

Note: if you gave your donation through another online form or over the phone, it may take a few days for your gift to be entered into our database and your activation code assigned.

How do I watch my programs once I have SCETV Passport?

Visit PBS.org and select SCETV as your local station. Then, sign in as you did during activation. If SCETV Passport is activated properly, you will see a small blue and white compass symbol by your name in the upper lefthand portion of the screen. When you're searching through the site, any video bearing that same blue and white symbol is an SCETV Passport video.

Currently, SCETV Passport can be accessed on PBS.org, the PBS apps on smartphones and tablets, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick and Android Smart TV.

How can I get additional help in setting up my device? 

SCETV Passport works on a variety of different devices and a variety of different platforms, from Amazon and Apple TV to Chromecast and beyond.
