New! Asynchronous Professional Development

ETV Education is now offering asynchronous professional development. These trainings are great for schools and districts to supplement their own PD offerings.

  • More than 30 trainings offered in 2, 3, and 6 hour formats
  • Focused on practical, classroom-ready strategies
  • Aligned with current teaching standards
  • Developed by current and former classroom educators
  • Perfect for in-service dates

"I think the format of this training [Canva for Education: Canva 101] was appropriate for teachers, given the timing and the activities planned to deliver the content. It would be great to assign during those teacher workdays in which we can receive professional development that adapts and is practical for us."  ~ ~ Richland District Two educator

ETV Education PreK-2 Learning Modules

Please see this October 2025 statement from PBS re the PBS KIDS learning modules. If and when PBS secures a new platform for the modules, we will update this page with the new link.

2025 UPDATE: Following the termination of the Ready to Learn grant, our contract with the platform that hosts the PBS KIDS professional development paths has ended. Every effort is being made to transfer these courses to Better Kid Care, a new partner affiliated with Penn State University. However, the timing of the launch is uncertain and therefore, the learning paths are unfortunately not available for the time being. We will make an announcement when we have a firm launch date.

PBS KIDS offers a FREE collection of flexible self-paced learning to help inspire teachers and provide support for the classroom.

Spark new ideas and expand your skill set by starting one of their 19 learning paths related to:

  • Reading
  • Family Engagement
  • Media Literacy
  • Science

Each learning path is a series of short modules (15-30 minutes) that are skills-based experiences and include a range of interactive formats.
