I have always had an enormous passion for public media, so the opportunity to participate in the ETV Endowment Internship Program this summer at SCETV in Columbia, S.C., feels like a dream come true! It’s hard to believe that I am already finishing my second week here. Every day has been filled with so many new and exciting experiences that the time seems to be flying by.

2017 National Geographic Bee: SC Student Competes

The National Geographic Bee is an annual competition organized by the National Geographic Society, designed to inspire and reward students' curiosity about the world. Students from 10,000 schools across the United States are competing in the 2017 National Geographic Bee for a chance to win college scholarships and the glory of being the National Geographic Bee Champion.

PBS NewsHour Selects Greenville Students as Reporting Labs Fellows

South Carolina ETV and the PBS NewsHour are extremely excited to announce that Greenville students Kimberly Castro-Rebolledo and Christian Peebles of Legacy Charter School have been selected as Student Reporting Labs Fellows and will attend NewsHour’s annual academy this summer from June 25-30. Thanks to the very hard work of Student Reporting Lab Connected Educator Neena Kumar and mentor producer Kaitlyn Cannon of South Carolina ETV, Kimberly and Christian will join 20 other students from across the country who are traveling to Washington, D.C.

Three Schools Accepted to Innovation Network
