Saving Endangered Fowls in Cayce | Palmetto Scene

Birds are one of nature’s most majestic and fascinating creatures, but some of them have become or are becoming extinct. Habitat loss has diminished some of the last remaining populations of all 29 species of pheasants. Some, such as the Edwards pheasant, are considered extinct in the wild by many organizations, thankfully there are a few aviculturists like John Collins that have a passion for these beautiful birds and are striving to assure that there will be pure populations, that one day may be repatriated to their native lands. #scetv #PalmettoScene
