Sandlapper's Corner offers some fun places to visit in South Carolina! When two boys become bored and can't find anything to do at home, they go in search of somewhere interesting to visit. This segment introduces the boys to the Columbia Museums of Art and Science where there is also a planetarium, as well as rotating exhibits and art classes for students.
The crew filmed a virtual tour of the Charleston Art Museum, the York County Nature Museum and a Nature Trail located in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Some of the museums in South Carolina are known for just one thing. The Bob Jones University Art Museum in Greenville has a world-famous collection of religious art. The Florence Museum has a museum dedicated to airplanes and missiles. In Darlington, you can visit a museum about auto racing, while at the Beaufort Museum, you can learn about the history of Beaufort and South Carolina.
