“SCETV Safe Space” campaign receives award for community engagement

SCETV Safe Space, a multiplatform initiative from South Carolina ETV (SCETV) received a Silver Award in the 3rd Annual Anthem Awards. The annual awards recognize purpose and mission-driven work from people, companies and organizations from around the world.

SCETV Safe Space received the Silver Award in the Health, Local Community Engagement category, showcasing best-in-class efforts, online or off, to provide people with opportunities to engage their local communities on behalf of a health cause.

The award-winning SCETV Safe Space comprehensive campaign, which included broadcast show promotion, impactful PSAs, engaging social media content and informative website information, successfully raised awareness, promoted inclusivity and provided valuable resources to audiences. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of providing a safe and inclusive environment for teens and caregivers to discuss suicide prevention, while also educating the public about the valuable resources available.

The Anthem Awards is the largest and most comprehensive social impact award, accepting work across five areas of impact including: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Education; Art & Culture, Health, Human & Civil Rights, Humanitarian Action & Services, Responsible Technology, and Sustainability, Environment & Climate.

Anthem judges are intellectually diverse leaders from across the impact industry with expertise that spans across the Anthem cause areas. This year’s Anthem Award winners were selected from a pool of over 2,000 submissions from 44 countries by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
