Holly Jackson
Holly Jackson is the Director of Content and Operations at ETV Lowcountry, one of SCETV’s four regional stations. A former local TV news reporter and anchor, Holly now uses that experience with the USCB communication studies students who conduct classes at the studio. She is the host of Books By The River, a show that highlights authors from across the southeast and is Executive Producer of Coastal Kingdom.
Holly is a native of Bishopville, SC and a graduate of USC Columbia. Throughout her journalism career, Holly has earned multiple awards and honors. Three times she’s been awarded the Edward R. Murrow regional award for Excellence in Writing. She was also recognized by the Georgia Association of Broadcasters for Best News Reporter in 2018. In 2022 she was a finalist for United Way of the Lowcountry’s “Woman of the Year.” In 2025 she was awarded a regional Emmy for Coastal Kingdom. Holly serves on the board of Family Promise of Beaufort County.
In her spare time, Holly enjoys finding a good deal and playing Scrabble. She and her husband have four daughters and also foster children through the Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA). They reside in Bluffton.
