After Action

Dear Viewers and Listeners: As we enter this season of gratitude, South Carolina ETV and Public Radio is saying “thank you” with new programs, special coverage and celebrations of all that we’re appreciative of as the year draws to a close. With general elections upon us, we’ll continue to explore narratives from local candidates during the 2022 Superintendent of Education Debate on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. We’ll also discuss election results during live coverage of the 2022 election on Nov. 8 starting at 8 p.m. In addition to our right to vote, we show appreciation for our nation’s veterans and their stories. Premiering on Nov. 11 at 9 p.m., After Action reveals the experiences of 21 diverse veterans from across the country. Conversations about life before, during and after action provide a deeper appreciation for those who’ve served. We are also thankful for the ability to focus on the things that bring us joy. The latest episode of Carolina Classrooms airs on Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. and highlights health and wellness in our schools. Younger viewers will be excited about the Season 3 premiere of Molly of Denali, premiering on Nov. 7. Find enjoyment through the mysterious tales told during the season finales of Magpie Murders on Masterpiece and Miss Scarlett and the Duke on Masterpiece, airing on Nov. 20 at 8 and 9 p.m., respectively. On Nov. 4 at 9 p.m., we celebrate being thankful with music during the NY Phil Reopening of David Geffen Hal, where the New York Philharmonic returns to its revitalized home. Kick off the holiday season with the 56th Annual Governor's Carolighting of the South Carolina's Christmas tree at the State House on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. Celebrate Thanksgiving on Nov. 24 with special programming such as The First Official Thanksgiving at 7:30 p.m. As always, we are grateful for your support and will continuously strive to show our gratitude through the provision of quality programming on South Carolina ETV and Public Radio.
