The 2021 Telehealth Innovator Award was presented to The Navigation Center during the 9th Annual Telehealth Summit of South Carolina held virtually in November.
Located in Charleston, The Navigation Center provides resources including food and housing support for people experiencing homelessness. In addition, medical care is offered through telehealth with doctors from the Medical University of South Carolina.
“We just take each person individually and try to figure out where they are today and how they got there and how we can help them move forward,” said Marie Elana Roland, CEO of The Navigation Center.
