SCETV announces Dr. Stephanie Frazier as new assistant general manager

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina ETV (SCETV) today announced that Dr. Stephanie Frazier, who has served the agency as vice president of Education since January 2019, has been promoted to assistant general manager. The position oversees several departments at SCETV, including Education, Marketing and Communications, Underwriting and Content. Combining both television and radio, the Content vertical includes production, digital strategies, programming and traffic and fundraising activities.

Frazier is in the midst of her second stint at SCETV as she worked previously as an original trainer for the StreamlineSC educational video-on-demand service. Before returning to the network in 2019, she served as the associate vice president of Curriculum and Instruction at the S.C. Technical College System, where she was responsible for curriculum management, learning activities, institutional research and grants management.

During her time as SCETV’s vice president of Education, Frazier led the station’s datacasting initiative, increased the station’s involvement in workforce development conversations, enhanced community engagement activities around youth voice and facilitated the redesign of SCETV’s premier educational website – knowitall.org.

A proud first-generation college graduate, Frazier received her undergraduate degree in Business, Master’s degree in Educational Technology and her Ph.D. in Educational Administration, all from the University of South Carolina.

Frazier has received numerous awards and has published many articles and case studies in a variety of publications. She is civically engaged and a graduate of Leadership Columbia.
