Public educators keep their focus on their students

Public educators work hard every day to support their students. It can be a stressful job. 2022 Honor Roll teacher Dani Stroud, lead science teacher at Gilbert High School in Lexington County School District One, says keeping the focus on educating and caring for “the whole child” is important in making choices related to public education.

She encourages other instructors, administrators, and support staff to share their own education stories to let others know about the positive things happening in their classrooms and schools.
