The West Main Artists Co-op is an open environment that allows artists from all over the Upstate to have a space to create. The co-op houses over 50 artists, all in different disciplines. Artists here specialize in sculpting, photography, painting, printmaking, performance, and several other types of art. The West Main Artists Co-op gives its residents the opportunity to hold exhibits and sell their work.
Artists who belong to the co-op also participate in the Spartanburg community. Many artists teach workshops that are open to the public and partner with other cultural organizations in Spartanburg.
