The State House Gavel: Environmental leader confirmed, income tax and tort reform updates

Happy Thursday and welcome to May. There are four days left of the legislative session. A reminder: The House gavels in 10 a.m. and the Senate returns at 10:45 a.m. The two chambers will meet in a joint assembly at 11 a.m. to elect three members of the Public Service Commission, which oversees utility rates:
