Craig Ness graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from The University of South Carolina. Craig began his career with ETV working with The Studio Crew back in 1988. In 1992 Craig moved into the Electronic Field Production Department. After four years in EFP, Craig transitioned into Producing and Directing. In November 2014, Craig began serving as interim Operations Manager at ETV Sumter and became fulltime Operations Manager in June of 2015. 

As the Operations Manager for ETV Sumter, Craig has spent close to three decades working in Public Broadcasting. He worked his way from the Floor Crew, through field production and into several levels of producing and directing.  He brings a blend of both technical and creative attributes that are vital to succeed as Operations Manager. In this role, he works closely with the "Making it Grow" team.  As SCETV’s longest running local program, Craig works with this talented team to help their award winning content growing and improving.   
As an award winning producer and director, Craig volunteers and develops positive outreach within the community.  He is also a proud father of a third generation Eagle Scout.
