The South Carolina Department of Transportation will hold four public open house meetings across the Upstate, beginning April 24.
The Upstate meetings are open to the public and the schedule includes:
- April 24, 5-7 p.m. – Greenville Technical College, Heritage Hall, 8109 White Horse Road, Greenville
- April 25, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. – C.C. Woodson Community Center, 210 Bomar Ave., Spartanburg
- April 29, 5-7 p.m. – Pickens County Library System – Village Library, 124 N. Catherine St., Pickens
- April 30, 5-7 p.m. – Greenwood Arts Center, 120 Main St., Greenwood
The stops are part of SCDOT’s 20-meeting tour across South Carolina to provide an update on the state’s efforts to support the electric vehicle industry and ecosystem as the agency kicks off its SC+EV Initiative. The program will work to position South Carolina for the future of electrified mobility by creating a reliable and accessible statewide network of EV charging infrastructure.
SCDOT will also hold a virtual public meeting, which may be viewed online beginning April 22.
