Afterschool with ETV is a free one-hour virtual series offering educators an opportunity to learn about new and exciting tools and resources. Educators can choose to attend one of two planned session times, both conveniently offered shortly after school ends.
Grab your fellow educators and participate together. Attendees earn a certificate of participation for one hour of PD, plus they'll be entered into a drawing for a wireless cell phone charging stand!
March 14, 2024: Supporting Early Literacy through Family Engagement
- Register now to attend the 3:15 – 4:15 p.m. session or the 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. session.

- Decades of research support the positive impact of family engagement on student success and learning. In this session, you will learn more about how to enhance early literacy skills while also ensuring families feel comfortable and supported. This includes providing families with the tools and strategies needed to help improve the overall literacy development of their children. The session will also explore ways to improve communication between teachers, schools, and families. Additionally, we will discuss creating partnerships between the community and the school that have a lasting impact on both the students and their families.
