South Carolina Public Radio is proud to announce the network has received 12 award nominations from the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas (RTDNAC). Winners of the 2023 RTDNAC awards competition will be announced at an awards luncheon on Nov. 11 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
RTDNAC is a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to showcasing the best broadcast journalism in North Carolina and South Carolina. RTDNAC also supports college students who aspire to a journalism career.
These annual awards honor outstanding journalism across TV, radio and digital platforms. The competition is open to all Carolina stations and individuals, and submissions are separated into four divisions— Radio, TV I (public television and radio stations with 20 or more full-time employees operating in certain markets), TV II (all other stations) and Student.
