We are excited to welcome LaKeshia Adams as ETV’s new Instructional Technology Specialist!

As Instructional Technology Specialist, LaKeshia will be responsible for providing K-12 professional development services for all South Carolina schools. She will create and facilitate face-to-face and online training for all educators, administrators, and  community and instructional leaders based on their needs. She will provide local training, demonstrations, and consulting on how to utilize educational media, web tools, instructional technology, and cloud assets when facilitating teaching. One of her first projects is to assist with implementation of the second season of Afterschool with ETV.

LaKeshia comes to SCETV with over 10 years of educational instruction, support, and leadership on local, regional, and state levels. Her experiences have afforded her the opportunity to interact with diverse populations, motivating and engaging them in learning and instructional technology. She loves analyzing and solving problems that enable others to excel.

Here are a few fun facts about LaKeshia:

  • Favorite subject in school: math
  • Favorite snack or food: Caribbean cuisine
  • Favorite hobby: having fun with the people I love
  • Favorite quote: “We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ― Marianne Williamson

LaKeshia looks forward to creating innovative professional learning experiences for curriculum specialists, teachers, and other K-12 instructional technology leaders. Contact her at ladams@scetv.org.
