Be My Neighbor Day - August 26, 2023

Join South Carolina ETV in partnership with Fred Rogers Productions, the PNC Grow Up Great Foundation, and South Carolina First Steps Countdown to Kindergarten for South Carolina’s first ever Be My Neighbor Day on Saturday, August 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Greenville at Unity Park and the Prisma Welcome Center.

It will be a beautiful day in the neighborhood when South Carolina ETV hosts Be My Neighbor Day! This free family fun experience will focus on the importance of being a caring neighbor, early learning, and kindergarten readiness. This event will feature hands-on activities from PNC Grow Up Great Mobile Learning Adventure, PBS KIDS, and an opportunity to meet Daniel Tiger himself! This event is for young children and their caregivers.

Be My Neighbor Day will include the following entertaining and educational activities:

  • Hands-on activities with PNC Grow Up Great Mobile Learning Adventure
  • “Tell Me a Story Theatre” with the South Carolina Children’s Theatre
  • Storytime with Greenville County Library
  • Meet & Greet with Daniel Tiger and SCETV Mascot Smart Cat
  • Photo Booth
  • PBS KIDS & Family Math Activities
  • Greenville City Fire Department
  • Greenville Paramedics
  • An opportunity to learn about other organizations in your learning neighborhood!

This event is Rain or Shine. Materials may be limited, and activities are on a first-come, first-served basis.
