Grants for the South Carolina Community Block Grant for Education Pilot Program have been awarded to seven initiatives throughout the state, with fifteen participating districts and additional community partners, including local Head Start and First Steps partnerships.

Our latest exhibition, running through March, is titled “Shadows of the Gullah Geechee" and is by the prestigious photographer Pete Marovich. The work explores the lives and culture of the Gullah Geechee people in communities from Hog Hammock on Sapelo Island, Ga., to Mosquito Beach on Sol Legare Island, S.C.
