Financial aid professionals from colleges and agencies across the state will explain the various types of aid available and offer their advice to students on how and when to apply.

A majority of web browsers have stopped supporting Flash in preparation for Adobe’s plan to completely retire Flash by 2020. Currently, over 80% of traffic to PBSKIDS.org comes from Flash-blocked browsers.

PBS KIDS will start retiring all Flash content in October 2018, including all Flash websites and games, to ensure our users are getting the best experience on pbskids.org. We expect all the targeted content listed below will be removed by November 30, 2018.

EOC Reports on the Education of Military Connected Children in SC

In 2014, the General Assembly passed Act 289, the Military Family Quality of Life Enhancement Act. The Act’s purpose is to “enhance many quality of life issues for members of the armed forces.” Part of the law requests the SC Education Oversight Committee (EOC) to develop an annual report on the educational performance of military connected children. The 2018 report, which was approved by the EOC in June 2018, provides:

ETV Education FREE Technology Training

SCETV Education provides FREE technology training at your location. Our staff trains over 3,000 South Carolina teachers face-to-face every school year. ETV's trainers specialize in webtools, iPads and Google, as well as all of the wonderful SCETV resources.

Our training service is available to South Carolina public, private, charter schools, and home school associations. We are also available to do presentations for colleges/pre-service teachers.
