Summary: Thompson appeals his convictions for first degree burglary and third degree assault and battery, arguing the trial court erred by admitting a trespass notice into evidence and admitting the entire recording of a 911 call into evidence. The Court of Appeals affirmed. State v. Thompson, 420 S.C. 386, 803 S.E.2d 44 (Ct. App. 2017). This Court granted Thompson's petition for a writ of certiorari to review the decision of the Court of Appeals.
