SCETV President sends a message about COVID-19 pandemic

South Carolina ETV President and CEO, Anthony Padgett, sends a message to viewers and listeners.

"Since joining this incredible team in 2017, I have seen firsthand how strong and resilient South Carolinians truly are.

No time has that been more evident than the present. As our state and nation continue to respond to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I want you to know that our team remains dedicated to being a resource to you.

We’re collaborating with the S.C. Department of Education to broadcast “At-Home Learning” – curriculum-based programming for South Carolina’s pre-K–12th grade students. And, we’re committed to reporting, in real time, any information you might need to keep you and your family safe.

If you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to visit scetv.org/coronavirus to stay up-to-date on all things related to COVID-19 in South Carolina. In this unprecedented and uncertain time, please know that our staff is following the social distancing directives by working from home– just like many of you.

We are here with you, South Carolina. And, we’ll be here to keep you informed and provide you with high-quality programming until this is all behind us.

I thank you for tuning in and for your support of SCETV.
