PBS platforms to offer livestream of South Carolina ETV's complete broadcast lineup

Livestream

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina ETV (SCETV) today announced that its complete broadcast lineup – featuring both national and local programming – will be streamed live on the PBS Video App, PBS.org and scetv.org.

The PBS Local Livestreaming initiative is yet another step toward increasing accessibility to public television across the country. Earlier this year, PBS announced a partnership with YouTube TV, allowing many public media stations, including SCETV, to establish a channel on the popular streaming service.

Access to SCETV’s local livestream is free and can be found online at www.scetv.org/watchSCETV. Viewers can also watch the livestream on the PBS Video Channel on Roku devices. The service is expected to expand to Android TV and Amazon Fire TV devices later this year and to Samsung TV in 2021.

Although the network’s complete broadcast lineup can only be accessed digitally through those selected devices, SCETV content is also available on the SCETV app, which can be downloaded on all iOS and Android devices. SCETV members are also able to view an extended library of quality public television programming via Passport.
