Dear Viewers and Listeners:

Thank you for your warm welcome. South Carolina ETV and SC Public Radio have a rich history, and I’m pleased to join the team as we approach our 60th anniversary next September.

I’ve always believed that dedication to quality and service should be at the core of public media, and that understanding and serving community needs is at the core of the local stations. I see this exemplified at SCETV. Our role in the community as a local voice, education partner and service provider is more important now than ever. SCETV has a heart for service and so do I.

SCETV has lined up some wonderful programming for our December pledge period. Graham Nash Live features the legendary performer in some of his most popular songs, while the Texas Tenors perform classic rock, pop and country favorites. Celtic Woman—Homecoming: Ireland showcases Irish heritage through its timeless music, and ’60s Pop, Rock & Soul presents hits and favorites of the AM radio era.

SC Public Radio features its annual line-up of holiday specials throughout December, so please check the radio pages of the Scene for a variety of seasonal listening choices.

Your support of our organization has made our service possible. Your support of our radio service in October and your donations to television this month are deeply appreciated.
