Cat Café Brings Care and Cuddles to Columbia

February 5, 2019 - Posted in Palmetto Scene by Erich Nuzum

Catitude Cat Café is a West Columbia coffee shop with a cat lounge. The shop partners with Pets Inc, an adoption shelter. The shop was opened to help the stray cat community.

“We see ourselves as a second chance home for a lot of these cats,” says owner Maria Garcia.

Despite the grumpy grimace, Kissy Face, the resident cat at Catitude, is all about the cuddles. She is the only cat not up for adoption. All the money made at the café goes straight back to helping cats.
