Lowcountry Moms' Book Club Not Your Average Meetup

May 9, 2018 - Posted in Palmetto Scene by Holly Bounds Jackson and Tabitha Safdi

Motherhood is certainly rewarding—but it’s also exhausting!  Playing taxi driver, personal chef, housekeeper, doctor and so much more can zap all of your energy by day’s end.  But a group of moms in Bluffton is going the extra mile to make time for themselves-—and it’s all in the name of literacy.  With the catchy title, I Like Big Books and I Cannot Lie, this book club is all about breaking away from the hustle and bustle, while showing their children that there’s always time for a good book.
