After the Governor's Carolighting, the holidays have arrived in South Carolina, and everyone has their favorite activity or tradition. There are all kinds of events happening in the coming weeks, and we would love to see what you are up to across the state! Anderson Christmas Gift Light Festival

Experience 2.4 miles of lights in Anderson, SC. This year the event will benefit the Cancer Association of Anderson, Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County, Veteran's Voice, Distinguished Young Women, Astra, Moms and Dads of the Upstate and more. Go to Santa's Lodge, The Firepit or take a ride in a horse drawn carriage!

Anderson County Farmers' Market Holiday Market

Over 30 local growers, cooks, artists and makers showcase and sell their wares at the Anderson County Farmers' Market.

Chanukah on Main

Join the Greenville Community as they celebrate Chanukah at the Grand Annual Downtown Menorah Lighting. There will be hot latkes, doughbuts, chocolate gelt and dreidels.

Denver Downs Drive-In: The Polar Express

Come to Denver Downs Farm for a kick-off to Christmas! Enjoy a drive-in showing of The Polar Express, hot chocolate, s'mores and bonfires!

Ed Harrison Memorial Celtic Christmas at Hagood Mill

A memorial to Ed Harrison, Celtic Christmas memorializes the musician with an annual event featuring local musicians, a visit from Santa, and traditional folk life and traditional arts demonstrations. This year's music will feature Celtic strains merged with African-American rhythms.

Holiday Lights Safari

Hollywood, the Upstate's Animal Park, presents the Holiday Lights Safari! Drive among the animals and lights, then visit Santa's Village where you can meet some of the animals, visit Mrs. Claus' attic where you can see a panoramic view of all the lights. You can even feed animals from your car in the Enchanted Deer Forrest. Admission foes to support the care and feeding of the Hollywild Animal Park.

Fountain Inn: Christmas "Inn" our Town

Fountain Inn celebrates a town tradition with its horse-drawn carriage rides. Carriage rides begin either at Inn Circle or Main Street depending when you ride and continue through downtown and the Inn Circle Community to see the beautiful light displays. There will also be a Craft Vendor Fair, holiday movie showings and things will finish up with "Our Town's Christmas Party" with a live band, ugly sweater competition and gingerbread house on the 16th.

Ice on Main

United Community Bank's Ice on Main is open for its sixth season! Celebrate the holidays at the open air skating rink in the heart of downtown Greenville.

Mauldin 12 Days of Christmas

"Twas the first of December, when all through Mauldin. The season was changing, and Christmas was callin’.The City was decorated, glistening with might. Knowing the holidays would soon bring delight!" Through Dec. 12, 2017, the Mauldin Cultural Center will have daily events like Christmas Baking Classes, the Holiday Market displaying local makers, Movie Night with Santa, and closing with the Christmastime Wassail Walk.

The Real Christmas Story

Narroway Productions presents two shows in one! Watch Christmas scenes and songs and then presents a living Nativity. Snowfall is guranteed at every performance, and you can also enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner.

Roper Mountain Holiday Lights

2017 marks the 26th and FINAL year of this event which has become an upstate tradition for many families. There will be lights, stars and Santa on Roper Mountain! Walk along WinterWonderland and lighted trails, visit St. Nick, view giant greeting cards designed by students and more. Additional events will be at Roper Mountain throughout the holiday season.

St. Francis Festival of Trees

Spectacular trees decorate the entrances to three hotels in Downtown Greenville, bringing the holiday season to life!

Upstate Holiday Light Show

Drive around in your car through millions of lights and the sky illuminated to Christmas songs around the Greenville-Pickens Speedway track! Enjoy other activities like the Petting Zoo, Pony Corral, Ice Skating and on Dec. 15, 16, 22 and 23, 2017.
