Seventy-five years ago, President Harry Truman signed into law the incorporation of Civil Air Patrol as a nonprofit organization.

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is a federally supported non-profit corporation that serves as the official civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force (USAF).
