After water rapidly filled much of the Palmetto State over the weekend, people are turning to Facebook to help owners and stranded pets reconnect. Lost and Found Pets of South Carolina is a Facebook page dedicated to helping people across the state who are missing pets. According to Mashable, all sorts of pets have been stranded, including horses.

People are posting pictures of rain soaked animals that they have rescued or found wondering around. Some people are posting pictures of their missing pets hoping that someone will recognize and find them. But even with all the missing animals posted, interspersed are some very heartwarming photos of owners and pets being reunited.
