FoxPipe Farm - Hay and Pastures for Horses

At FoxPipe Farm in Laurens, SC, Reed Edwards talks with Clemson Extension Agent Amanda McNulty and host of "Making It Grow" about his hay and pasture practices for his horses. Reed tries to have something green and growing year round. On the hay fields he has fields of AU Grazer Sericea Lespedeza, Alfalfa/bermudagrass, Tifton 85 bermuda and AU Grazer sericea. His horse pastures now has Novel Endophyte fescue to help prevent fescue toxicosis. He also shows his rotational, strip grazing system for his horses.
