It just so happened that my first day at ETV coincided with SCETV’s employee appreciation day. As part of the celebration I was able to attend a presentation that highlighted the accomplishments of SCETV over the past 60 years. It was a great way to be introduced to so many of the dedicated and accomplished people that work here at SCETV. After the celebration, I was able to tag along on a shoot here in Columbia, SC. The rest of the week was eventful as well. In just 5 days I have already started working on projects involving a short web series, virtual reality and stop motion animation. I have also been able to work on scheduling some great shoots for the rest of the summer. At the end of my first week here, I know that this summer will be my busiest, most productive and most exciting one yet!

My favorite part of week 1: Seeing how often everyone here helps each other out on projects. SCETV has such a collaborative atmosphere that it almost makes me forget about the chaos of college group projects, almost.
