2013 Governor’s Carolighting At The State House

December 13, 2013 - Posted in Local by Tabitha Safdi

This year marked the 47th Annual Carolighting at the Statehouse in Columbia, South Carolina. There were ensembles and choirs, both young and old, Columbia Mayor Benjamin, Governor Haley and even Santa attended.

But who sets all this up? There is a lot that goes into making sure an event like this is a success. The Event Planner, Ray Gray, says, “It’s my role to pull all the pieces together and to really make them work. I’m not doing it all by myself I am grateful to say. I have some help from the governor’s staff and it's really a team effort”.
