Discover the architectural, engineering and urban-planning wonders that changed America. Host Geoffrey Baer, along with historians and experts, highlight the homes, modern marvels, monuments, streets and parks that revolutionized the way Americans lived, worked and played.

Plates And Places (Aug. 21 - 23)
Stamp your culinary passport with this special showcase of Joanne Weir's Plates and Places. Join the James Beard Award-winning chef as she creates easy, enticing meals inspired by her international travels. She goes caper-hunting along the Aegean, spit-roasts lamb for a feast in Syros and sources San Marzano tomatoes in Italy.

Best of Sewing With Nancy (Aug. 28 - 30)
Join Create as we remember and celebrate public television pioneer Nancy Zieman. In this five-hour showcase, you'll learn to sew like a pro with back-to-back "best-of" episodes of her long-running series, "Sewing With Nancy."

Labors of Love (September 5-6)
Kick up your feet this Labor Day weekend and watch masters of their crafts work their creative magic. P. Allen Smith reveals the secrets of gorgeous garden design; Lidia Bastianich shows how to feed a family, Italian-style; the America's Test Kitchen crew whips up elegant desserts and sophisticated entrees; and Eric Gorges learns about the intricacies of making stained glass. 

Milk Street Food Fest (September 12-13)

Pati’s Food and Fiesta (September 19-20)
Create celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with a special marathon of Pati's Mexican Table! Join chef Pati Jinich on her culinary adventures through Mexico as encounters, then recreates, authentic south-of-the-border dishes.  

This Old House: Detroit Project (September 26-27)
Watch as the This Old House team restores an abandoned 1939 home in the Russell Woods-area of Detroit with help from the community.
