Carolina Classrooms: STEAM

It’s the time of year to give thanks and the "Carolina Classrooms" team has plenty to be grateful for this year! South Carolina students and educators are always at the top of the list, along with you, our viewers, and to show our appreciation we’ve got a very special episode of "Carolina Classrooms" planned for November 27 at 7 p.m.

Our topic is STEAM. Not the kind you use to cook your vegetables! STEAM - science, technology, engineering, arts, and math - is the focus as educators work to ensure the success of their 21st century graduates.

The program will feature an all-star guest list including our 2020 South Carolina Teacher of the Year Chanda Jefferson, South Carolina’s STEM Educator of the Year Warren Wise and Oakdale Elementary STEAM teacher Jolandra White. We’ll also visit the South Carolina State Museum for some science experiments with their Education Manager Laura Ybarra Kane.

We hope you’ll join us for this fun, new episode of "Carolina Classrooms!" This educational series, produced by ETV Education, is designed for teachers, parents and all citizens invested in the education of our children.

Be sure to join us for this interesting "Carolina Classrooms" program!
