ETV Summer PD Workshops: FREE for SC Teachers – Register NOW!

Looking for Professional Development opportunities this summer? ETV is offering three, FREE workshops in Columbia:

Wednesday, June 20: Google

Has your school “gone Google” and you feel left behind?  Spend a day with ETV and we will help you keep up. We will cover Classrooms, sharing, Google Forms, extensions and add-ons. Register at

Friday, July 20: Blended Learning

As classrooms move to a 1:1 environment, it changes the way instruction is delivered.  Spend the day with ETV learning about free tools available for teachers to use whether you are 1:1 already or are moving in that direction.  We will explore tools for assessment, flipping the classroom, and communicating with students and parents. Tuesday, July 31: Webtools for Teachers

There are thousands of free webtools on the internet for teachers to use in their classroom. During this workshop, you will have an opportunity to create accounts, explore sites and discuss ways to incorporate these webtools into your curriculum. Register at


  • Workshops will be held at SCETV in Columbia (located next to USC’s Williams Brice Stadium at 1041 George Rogers Blvd., Columbia, SC, 29201) from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with an hour break for lunch (on your own). 

  • Participants will receive a certificate for 6 hours of training that can be turned in to their PD coordinator in their district.  No direct recertification/renewal credits will be issued.
