Will Your Science Students Be Among the Next Generation of Cancer Researchers?

PBS LearningMedia and Stand Up To Cancer are proud to announce the Emperor Science Award program - a unique virtual mentoring program that pairs university-level research scientists with high school students, presenting an exciting opportunity for them to explore the world of science, grow their skills, build confidence and conduct rewarding cancer and cancer care research.


WHO:  Students in grades 10-11 who love science and are curious about careers in science research – especially cancer research & care.

AWARD: 100 students will be awarded a mentorship opportunity plus receive a Google Chromebook and $1500 for project expenses.

ENTER:  Students complete the application and submit a 750-word essay on why science research is so important to finding a cure for cancer.

DEADLINE:  March 17, 2017
