The Great Thanksgiving Listen 2017 Teacher Toolkit is available for teachers in your listening area!

The 2017 Teacher Toolkit is easier to use, and includes new privacy settings and expanded lessons and videos from the StoryCorps collection.

Here's what's new for #TheGreatListen 2017:

Version 3.0 solves the issue of interviews that “disappeared” from devices, partial recordings, and more. Be sure to update to the newest version of the app before running The Great Listen in classrooms this year.

We’ve added a feature that lets you select from a new list of privacy options for your interviews. After students record an interview with an elder, they may want to share it with the world — or, they may prefer to share it with friends and family only. The new settings let you opt for sharing publicly or privately with people whom you choose.

New this year, participantss can highlight special moments in their Great Thanksgiving Listen interviews with free Adobe Spark tools. Adobe Spark makes it easy to create shareable graphics, magazine-style web pages, and videos.

Help us reach educators in your region by sharing the Teacher Toolkit and downloading  on-air promos and graphics to engage with your local communities.
