ETV’s Carolina Classrooms NEW LOOK for 2017-18

Carolina Classrooms is ETV’s monthly educational series for teachers, parents and all citizens invested in the education of our children and this year we have a new look! Hosted by Dr. Lemuel Watson, USC professor and Executive Director of the Center for Innovation in Higher Education, Carolina Classrooms features more online education stories in addition to broadcast programs.

Keep an eye on our website for education stories from around our state! We'll feature students involved in science, technology, engineering and math, as well as stories about the arts, writing, nutrition, education policy, and more. 

VIEW ONLINE NOW – Our online education story about USC Sumter Science Camp is available now! The Greenwood Genetic Center brought their Gene Machine Mobile Science Laboratory to teach kids about chromosomes and extracting DNA. Plus, the informational segments in the September 2017 Making College Affordable program will be there soon! Check them out:

PLAN TO WATCH – The next edition of Carolina Classrooms will air on ETV November 22 at 7 p.m. The topic will be Digital Literacy. Learn how South Carolina schools are preparing students for 21st century life and careers.
