Carolina Classrooms: Making College Affordable, which originally aired live on January 25 on ETV, is now available online!
This special edition of ETV’s education series Carolina Classrooms will provide information that is timely for students seeking financial assistance for the 2017-18 school year, plus give students and their parents the opportunity to get their questions answered!
Produced by ETV and hosted by Dawn Samples to provide information about funding higher education, the program will include financial aid professionals from colleges across South Carolina, the S.C. Higher Education Tuition Grants Commission, and the S.C. Commission on Higher Education. These experts will provide information on types and sources of aid, the application process, federal/private and state scholarships and grants, state assistance with private college expenses, plus more.
REPEATS - Carolina Classrooms: Making College Affordable aired January 26 at 9:00-10:00 p.m. on SCC (The South Carolina Channel) and January 30 at 10:00-11:00 a.m. on ETVW (ETV World). (Questions cannot be taken during repeat broadcasts.)

UPCOMING - Join ETV for a Carolina Classrooms program on the important topic of College and Career Readiness planned for February 22 at 7:00 p.m. Guest host Dr. Lemuel Watson from USC’s College of Education will lead a discussion on what students need to do to be prepared for college and/or a career. We’ll look at resources available in our state and how to prepare for the changing job market.
