Carolina Classrooms: Language Immersion May 25 at 7 p.m. on ETV

The many educational and cultural benefits of learning a new language make it well worth the effort! In the May edition of Carolina Classrooms, ETV’s monthly educational series for teachers, parents and all citizens invested in the education of our children, we’ll take a look at “Language Immersion.” 

Join host Dawn Samples and special guest Ruta Couet, World Languages - SC Department of Education, Wednesday, May 25 at 7:00 p.m. on ETV. In this program, we’ll talk about what language immersion is and discuss why it is being used. Plus, look at how this initiative is impacting the way languages are being taught in South Carolina Schools.

Each Carolina Classrooms program focuses on key educational topics and initiatives in our state and provides a forum for education stakeholders to learn and be involved.
