South Carolina ETV (SCETV) is proud to announce that the half-hour reality documentary series Fork & Hammer has received a nomination from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) for the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards. Fork & Hammer has been nominated in the Outstanding Culinary Cultural Series category. Winners will be announced during the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards ceremony on Oct. 30.
The Daytime Emmy® Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts since 1974, honoring excellence across a wide range of genres, including daytime dramas, talk shows, instructional programming, hosting, culinary and legal/courtroom programs. All entries are judged by a pool of more than 1,000 peer professionals from across the television industry.
Produced by SCETV in coordination with Susie Films, Fork & Hammer follows married restaurateurs Jeff Tonidandel and Jamie Brown as they transform a 120-year-old former church into Charlotte's newest landmark dining destination. Blending culinary innovation, historic preservation and personal storytelling, the 10-episode series offers an inside look at the challenges and triumphs of independent restaurant ownership while balancing family life, ambitious construction projects and a team of more than 230 employees.
Fork & Hammer premiered in October 2025 and is distributed nationally by American Public Television (APT). Production funding for the series was provided by the ETV Endowment of South Carolina, Trust20, the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority and Biltmore Estate Winery.
