This film was created as a course project for WCIN 4760 Filmmaking for Mobile Media. Our professor assigned us into groups of three, and we had two weeks to write, shoot, and edit a ten-minute film. My partners, Celena Webb and Sophie Candler, and I all bonded over the idea of lost love. They were Seniors at the time of production, so the anxieties of graduation and the romantic complexities of a post-college life were at the forefront of our minds. Before shooting, I found my dad's old Sony camcorder, and we decided to take the creative leap and use it to create a dreamy, nostalgic examination of this couple in crisis.
