Robert Morrell was employed at SCETV (ETV Upstate) from November 1987 to February of 2012. During those years, he worked on numerous broadcast and non-broadcast programs and projects.
Bob, as he was known to all, was the Producer/Director of the popular "Impressions" artist profile program that highlighted local artists in the upstate and statewide area, as well as producing a popular surfing documentary Beach Break: A History of Surfing in South Carolina.
In addition, Bob Morrell was also the videographer who helped shoot and produce the popular "Ghosts and Legends of South Carolina" series. See Side Notes for a link to that video and to learn more.
Bob also served as an adjunct faculty member at USC Upstate and taught “Motion Picture and Video Techniques” and “Advanced Video Production” for years. He was instrumental in teaching hundreds of college students and interns in the art of video and television production.
