Clemson Extension Agronomy Agent Hannah Mikell visits the Clemson University Sandhill Research & Education Center to talk with Dr. Cory Heaton about ongoing efforts to help farmers and landowners protect their soybean crops from deer damage. Their research includes multiple soybean plots protected with different fencing designs and chemical deterrents. The results will offer valuable solutions for managing deer encroachment, which continues to devastate soybean fields and other agricultural crops across the region.
