The Peace Center
For more than 35 years, The Peace Center has been known to bring top performing arts programs to Greenville, including Broadway shows as the only place in the Upstate that the public can see New York’s blockbuster Tony® winners and buzzworthy Broadway shows on their first national tours. The Peace Broadway season is one pillar of the Peace Center’s mission to enrich and inspire the lives of the people of the Upstate.
“This year, the Peace Broadway season features an impressive lineup,” said Heather Chamberlain, Vice President of Marketing, “including the returns of Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Wicked.’ Newcomers
‘Maybe Happy Ending’ (2025 Tony Winner for Best Musical), ‘Just In Time,’ ‘Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical’ and ‘Buena Vista Social Club™’ join the season as the latest musical spectaculars from New York. The popular 80s cult classics ‘Heathers the Musical’ and ‘Dirty Dancing: The Musical’ come alive onstage. Find out what happened after the Battle of Hogwarts in ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’—be prepared for stage magic like you have never seen before.”
“The Peace Center supports South Carolina ETV and SC Public Radio because we share a deep dedication to expanding access to the arts and to transforming lives through inspiring arts. Supporting SCETV and Friday night Arts Programming on PBS like Great Performances is a natural extension of the Peace Center’s work to connect people through shared experiences,” said Chamberlain.
Among the Peace Center staff’s favorite SCETV offerings are Friday night Arts Programming, Masterpiece and Morning Edition. “Whether on stage or on air,” Chamberlain added, “the Peace Center and SCETV are partners in enriching life across the state through the power of the arts.”
