Microledon Farm | Making It Grow

Clemson Extension’s Amanda McNulty visits Microledon Farm in Conway, SC, to talk with owner Oscar Chavez. They discuss the history of his family farm, the methods used to grow a variety of microgreens and other crops, and the sustainable practices in place. Microgreens are young vegetable greens harvested just after the first leaves have developed and are recognized for their flavor, texture, and color. At Microledon Farm, these greens are used by local chefs for use in their dishes. Oscar also describes their farm share program, farm dinner events, and a nearby flower farm.
