Natalie Daise is an actress, storyteller, visual artist, and speaker best known for her role as "Ms. Natalie" on the Nick Jr. children's series Gullah Gullah Island, which she co-starred in alongside her husband, Ron Daise, from 1994 to 1998. The show was cited by TV Guide as one of the "10 best children's shows" in 1996, and the couple received nominations for NAACP Image Awards and a Daytime Emmy. Natalie earned a B.A. in Writing from Vermont College and later a master's in creative studies from Union Institute and University in 2014. She first arrived in the South Carolina Lowcountry in 1983 and has maintained deep ties to the Gullah culture of the Sea Islands ever since.

Beyond television, she has expanded her creative work into painting, visual art, and performance, including a one-woman show titled Becoming Harriet Tubman, and a collaboration with SCETV on the project When I See Myself, I See..., which reflects her ongoing commitment to using storytelling and art to build community, empower young people, and inspire others.

S'Way and the Apostrophe is a funk and soul band based in Columbia, South Carolina, fronted by guitarist and vocalist Adams Way — whose name gave rise to the stage name "S'Way" after a coworker and bandmate jokingly moved the "S" from his first name to his last. Inspired by artists like D'Angelo, Prince, and the neo-soul era, the band blends funk and soul to create a sound that feels both classic and fresh. They have released four original singles, including their debut "For the Rest of Time," submitted a set for NPR's Tiny Desk Concert, and are working toward an upcoming EP, performing at venues across South Carolina — including the Charleston Pour House — to an ever-growing audience.
