Feathers, Fur, and 4H | Making It Grow

The South Carolina 4-H Livestock Project helps youth explore their interests in raising and showing animals from beef and dairy cattle to horses, swine, sheep, goats, poultry, and rabbits. 🐰🐔

In this Making It Grow segment, “Feathers, Fur, and 4-H,” Clemson Extension 4-H Youth Development Agents Freddricka Pressley and Elizabeth Snipes join host Amanda McNulty in studio along with several 4-H members and their animals. They demonstrate how to properly show rabbits and chickens while sharing the care and dedication that goes into preparing for competition.

Then, Amanda welcomes Clemson Extension Horticulture Agent Carmen Ketron as the rabbits hop back, this time dressed in their Halloween costumes for a fun twist on the traditional showmanship category! 🎃🐇
