About the Filmmaker

Kristina Cunningham, a second year Media Arts major at the University of South Carolina, loves to use any camera equipment to take photos and especially create films. Passionate about impactful storytelling, Kristina works to learn more about the wiring of impactful documentaries and movies. Kristina has enjoyed this opportunity to grow in her filmmaking abilities and communication skills by way of a camera. She looks forward to a future career in production thanks to all of her past wonderful experiences.

About NextLens

The NextLens Online Film Festival showcases the talented and innovative aspiring filmmakers from South Carolina. With the minimum age of sixteen, honorees are selected from South Carolina high schools, colleges and universities. The online film festival will be held annually each Spring featuring some of the brightest producers and their creative short films.
